You can access the webinar replays up to 24 hours after.
Nope, the webinars aim to give you progress-enhancing background information with the goal of improving practice quality and avoiding frustration - but they are theoretical.
You may need a note pad to scribble down inspiring concepts, but you can relax on your sofa meanwhile.
For the weekly drills, however, you do need to go outside - but these drills are available 24/7 in your online library and the videos are SUPER short to allow you minumum screen time and maximum practice time!
Sure! All you need is:
✔️ suitable clothing to go outdoors
✔️ a flat snow-free or tightly snow-packed area the size of a basketball court
✔️ a moderately sloped snow-free or tightly snow-packed area, approx. 20 x 10 feet (7 x 3 meters)
Nope, actually I don't recommend that, unless you really want to. But learning skill takes practice and REST (to allow your brain to re-wire) - so I recommend taking breaks in between.
This challenge is about finding a realistic practice habit, one that will fit into your daily life.
Also I recommend to watch the video above titled "Why this challenge IS NOT about practicing daily!"
Absolutely! All my courses are suitable for all types of mountain bikes.
Yes - all my courses are optimized for safety and build on safe, step-by-step progressions. If you follow my structure and listen to your body, getting hurt is very unlikely.
But progress is guaranteed 😃
It is! Here's why:
You'll work with me live during the webinars and be able to ask me questions.
The exercises are very different from my other courses. This program is more playful and the lessons are success-oriented. My courses are skill-oriented. This means, that in this program the goal is to practice and to reach a specific goal, which improves your coordination and anticipation. In my other courses, the goal is to build a specific skill and a specific FORM - so the focus is different. Both types of training are important, so I see this program as a supplement to my other courses.
The goal of this program is having fun and building a realistic practice habit in a playful manner - which will serve you way beyond this program, but the goal is not building a specific skill like in my other courses. So actually, after taking this program, you will be able to profit from my other courses even more - and vice versa.
Anyone who wants to improve their control, coordination and bike control will profit, as there are up to 9 levels for every drill - so you can work your way up to challenge yourself, regardless of your current level.
Yes and no.
This course WILL improve your coordination, bike-handling, anticipation and finesse, which is the breeding ground for becoming fast, but we will not be doing timed drills.
To become faster, you need:
solid FUNdamentals,
ideally also advanced skills like bunny hops, drops and solid cornering skills,
the coordination skills learnt in this course AND
you need to apply all these to the trails deliberately at different speeds under varying conditions.
By combining these, you will get faster. So the skills we practice in this course are an important element, but not the only one. 😊
Yes, absolutely.
This program improves your coordination, bike handling and anticipation and aims to establish your practice routine, which is the breeding ground for skills of all sorts.
My mental training course addresses mental aspects of riding, how to deal with fear, overwhelm and other negative emotions, and gives you hands on tools to let go of these.
So this program and the course supplement each other perfectly 🙂 - because the body and the mind are interdependent.
