Meet your Coach:
Iām not just passionate about riding - Iām passionate about teaching. Iāve worked with thousands of riders, trained coaches internationally, and combined my knowledge of neuroscience, motor learning, and mental training to create a uniquely safe and structured approach to mountain bike skill development specifically for adult riders.
As a certified Sports Mental Coach, Psychological Counsellor and NeuromentaltrainerĀ®, I understand the mental and physical hurdles adults face when learning new skills. Thatās why my coaching focuses not just on technique, but also on psychology and building confidence step by step - helping you progress safely and effectively, no matter your starting point.
My mission: To make professional training and ongoing coaching - typically reserved only for elite athletes - accessible to everyone, all around the globe, at an affordable rate.
"German skills coach, Roxy, stands out from the crowd for her teaching abilities and focus on the why of skills training. She is known for giving her clients clear context around why they need to practice or hone a specific skill, instead of following the usual ājust trust meā approach."

Let me share my story with you... Because it did NOT start smoothly and it was NOT an easy "career".
with a well-meaning mountain bike instructor, who got a girl face-plant into a rock at high speed during a beginner skills clinic.
You may have guessed:
That girl was me.
Yup, that's how I got into mountain biking.
NOT the best start.
and I couldnāt even come close to riding trails without the fear overwhelming me. This was not how mountain biking should feel, and I knew that. I took countless skills clinics, got as much coaching as possible, until I was convinced that I couldnāt do it.
I found myself saying⦠"I will never learn to ride technical trails and will never be able to learn the skills I want to" š I had reached rock bottom, and almost threw my bike into the garbage. I decided I was through with other people coaching me and started my own research. One last attempt at learning what I wanted to, and if this didnāt workā¦
Iād sell my bike and quit forever.
Slowly but steadily, I progressed and learnt all the skills that I had previously given up on!
Eventually⦠I realized that I have a passion for teaching, and that I was good at it.
I was able to use the skills clinics to teach me what not to do, and then I decided it was time to start helping others avoid a terrible experience like mine.
So yes, I know what rock bottom feels likeā¦
But most importantly, I know how YOU can avoid hitting rock bottom and I know how you can work to become an AMAZING rider, RIGHT NOW.
If you feel like something is missing, can relate to this story at all, or just want to improve your skills as a riderā¦
